Deputy Chairman NAB Sohail Nasir, Prosecutor General Accountability Ahtisham Qadir Shah, and Director General NAB Lahore Mirza Faran Baig conducted the bureau’s monthly Open Court on Saturday, directly engaging with citizens to address their grievances and expedite pending cases.
Nearly 450 complainants appeared before the officials, many of them victims of fraudulent housing and real estate schemes including Omega Residencia, Future Vision, Al-Noor Orchard, City Garden, Pak Arab, Khayaban-e-Amin, Sarmayadari, La Villa De Paris, Al Rehman Garden Phase-IV, Eden Housing, Unique Solar, Bismillah Garden Faisalabad, Al Jalil Garden, and Lahore Capital City.
DG NAB Lahore, along with the Deputy Chairman and PGA, issued prompt directives for action on complaints and reaffirmed NAB’s commitment to ensuring justice for all affectees without compromise.
During the session, cheques worth approximately Rs88 million were distributed among victims of Khayaban-e-Amin Housing Society. NAB reported that 80 percent of affectees in this case have been settled so far, while directives were issued to accelerate remaining recoveries and disbursements.
