The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is being observed today, with Pakistan’s leadership reaffirming unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
In their messages, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan’s resolute stance that it stands firmly with the people of Palestine.
President Zardari said Pakistan’s support is anchored in universal values of human dignity, fairness, and justice. He noted that Pakistan has consistently condemned the atrocities committed by Israeli occupying forces in Gaza and has raised its voice for Palestinian rights at every international forum.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue extending all possible political, diplomatic, humanitarian, and moral support to its Palestinian brothers and sisters.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, said the Palestinian people have endured one of the most devastating human tragedies of modern times. Their courage, he added, reflects the indomitable human spirit in pursuit of justice and freedom.
