Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have killed 23 terrorists over the last 48 hours in operations at Datta Khel, Spinwam, and Bannu. The ISPR reported that troops effectively engaged multiple khwarij locations during these operations.
Over the period of intense engagements, 23 khwarij were reportedly killed, including ring leader Jan Meer alias Toor Saqib. Security forces also uncovered a series of underground tunnels and bunkers used by the terrorists and recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from their caches.
The sanitisation operations aim to clear these areas of remaining terror networks, with security forces committed to continuing their Counter Terrorism campaign under the ‘Azm e Istehkam’ vision.
