A high-level investigation team has been formed by Sindh IGP Javed Alam Odho to probe the brutal murder of a three-year-old girl, Kulsoom Mohammed Qasim, found dead in Quaidabad. The body was discovered stuffed in a gunny bag at her home’s main gate.
Doctors confirmed that she suffered violent rape before being murdered. A DNA collection operation has been conducted from over 12 suspects from the same neighbourhood, including relatives of the victim. Laboratory results are awaited to confirm possible matches.
The case is under investigation with three suspects suspected to be close family members. If a match is found in the lab, it could lead to their detention and interrogation for a breakthrough.
