Pakistan has declined an invitation from India to participate in the upcoming Asian Senior Fencing Championships scheduled for New Delhi.
Despite being invited by the local organizers, Pakistan opted not to send their fencing team despite the event marking its debut hosting of such a continental competition.
Fencers representing over 30 countries from across Asia and Oceania are set to compete. Around 100 delegates and technical officials will be in charge of overseeing the tournament.
