Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian called for a ‘united front’ among Muslim nations to establish a new regional security structure during a visit to Pakistan. The two leaders held constructive meetings, discussing bilateral relations and developments in the region.
Pezeshkian emphasized that peace, stability, sustainable security, development, and welfare of nations in West Asia and the Persian Gulf can only be ensured through honest discussions and intra-regional cooperation based on mutual respect for all countries involved.
He proposed that Iran and Pakistan stretch their hands of friendship to build a new security structure for regional countries. The Iranian president also stated his belief that Muslims should form a united front against their enemies, leveraging the political will of leaders and nations in Islamabad and Tehran.
