Yasir Ayaz, a journalist who had been missing for four days after leaving Islamabad, was found alive and in critical condition by Mansoori police post officials in Swabi on Tuesday.
The police discovered Mr. Ayaz unconscious near the police station area when he contacted his father from an unknown number revealing his current location in Baraqai of Swabi district.
After being taken to a private hospital for medical attention, Mr. Ayaz was able to recount his abduction and how he had traveled to the Baraqai area under uncertain circumstances.
