The Sindh government has revised its original announcement for a four-day public holiday during Eidul Azha. The new decision now includes only three days of holidays: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
In contrast to the earlier plan, Friday will be observed as a work-from-home day according to a notification issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah on May 23.
Previously, offices were scheduled for holidays from May 26 to May 28. However, with this adjustment, only these three days are now confirmed across the province, except for essential services and departments engaged in preparing the budget for the financial year 2026-27.
